We've got a tour around the whole Universal studio lot. We started at the lighting department, continued to see te soundstages of new tv shows. Later we went to see the prop and clothing departments. What an incredible place. So big!!! Rows and rows and rows of clothes, drapery, plates, monsters, furniture, samurai swords, zombies and neon lights. After that we went to see ousiede film sets from Hancock, Desperate Housewives, the Grinch, Jaws.
Ater a tasty lunch we went to see the postproduction departments starting with sound. We went to see the foley and recording studios and saw a sneak trailer for Sam Raimi's new horror movie. We also visited departments where the restore old films, the movie archives, editing rooms and much much more. As I am writing this I'm having a hard time remebering it all. It's all very overwhelming. I head no idea the Universal Studios lot was so immensely big!
