Today we went to see Focus Features. Their office is situated on the far corner of the Universal lot. They were a very friendly goup of people and told us all about their company. It doesn't seem like the easiest place to get your film made as a starting director. They find you. The are interested in filmauthors. They want films that express a strong view from the director and aim their films for a very international market. For them to contact you, you'll have to have taken your place in the spotlights, by winning Cannes, Sundance or got nominated for an oscar.
That night we went to the world premier of Fast and Furious. We got to walk over the red carpet!!! The film was okay, but the after party was great! A really big party with lots of food and celebrities. We met a lot of nice people and partied into the early hours.
